Teaching for the Future: Educational seminars for teachers

Teaching for the future is a new program co-organized with the Heritage Management Organization. It is a cycle of four online educational and networking seminars for secondary school educators who want to learn how to cultivate contemporary soft skills in the classroom for the citizens of tomorrow, with the use of digital tools of today.

The program aims to enrich the knowledge of educators on how to use digital tools that are already available to them in class, in a way that cultivates soft skills for the students. These soft skills are key to the personal, academic, and professional development of students nowadays and are necessary for their well-being and success as future citizens of our contemporary, interconnected world. Teaching for the future is co-organized with The Heritage Management Organization and is supported by the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation. Please read more, here.

Teaching for the future wants to create a community of educators that keep up to date with the various creative ways they can use technology in class. This community will then be able to contribute to our schools in a way that enhances our students’ potential to grow personally, academically, and professionally in the future by providing them with the appropriate tools. Teamwork, public speaking, innovative thinking, and communication. Four key skills for social well-being and success in the contemporary world. Four 2-hour seminars on how each one of these skills can be cultivated through the use of digital tools in the class. The seminars will take place online from 8 to 29 March 2023, on a weekly basis and participation is free.

Registration is required by 15 February 2023 here.
