Gateway to Greece | Capstone Project Presentation

Thursday 21 July, 15:00, online

How do overseas internship programs help young people gain professional experience and international perspective? What skills can a university student earn by participating in such programs? What can an American university student learn from working and living in Athens, hosted by a local host family? Would we like to see more exchange programs that promote mobility between Greek and US universities and youth?

The American participants of the USA Study Abroad funded program Gateway to Greece, will present their capstone projects and the contemporary professional skills they develop during their 8 week summer internship program in Athens. Additionally, we will discuss how overseas internship programs can contribute in the professional development and intercultural training of young people worldwide and how they can reinforce the mobility between Greek and American youth.
